This brunette is finally on the web! Life has changed so much in the last month I have had a hard time catching up.
What a change in my life. First, I decide to end my life in the metroplex, close that chapter and start my next chapter off with a BANG!
I moved to the metroplex to help out my best friend Kristy Kimmell after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She passed August 2010 after fighting for 6 years. I have stayed in Irving with our dog Daisy Mae until August 2012. Then Mandi gave me the offer of a lifetime and I had NO Choice but to say "yes, please." I have left some amazing friends behind but I wish them all the best and know I will visit when I come home because I will need a place to stay. =o) hint hint.
My last day at work was August 29th then I sold everything I owned on September 1 and moved home with my parents. Yes, it was a very strange feeling to see what is left of my life. I turned ?? on September 28th and have nothing to show for my life except a few boxes and a beautiful Chiwinee, who is now with my brother and nephew. (Mama love you, Daisy). I have enjoyed spending time with my parents, siblings and friends this month but now I will be leaving for my next adventure.
Our adventure. Mandi's first blog talked about our trip and being a little nervous and I totally agree. She also discussed this blog being a bit spiritual..."religious," yes. I totally agree. How can we make a trip like this and it not be spiritual? I have had to do a lot of soul searching to even decide to take the step to quit my job of 5+ years, sell everything and go. But I do not regret any decision and am grateful for the chance to go. I will be leaving my parents home tomorrow and fly up to Baltimore on Wednesday to meet up with Mandi (see her for the first time in a month).
Love you Annie and pray you and Yankee Mandi have a safe and wonderfully blessed trip. I will miss you and be praying for y'all. So gland y'all started a blog. LOVE YOU! MEXICAN MANDY
